Are you interested in telling stories, capturing moments, and sharing exciting news? Join our Newspaper Club and become a part of our team of young journalists! This after-school club offers a unique opportunity for students to dive into the world of journalism and create their very own student-run newspaper.

Newspaper Club empowers students to produce a student-written and student-produced newspaper, covering school events and conducting campus interviews. Members will gain hands-on experience in newspaper production, from writing and editing to publishing online and in print. They'll take on key roles like editor, assistant editor, reporter, photographer, and graphic designer, developing valuable skills in journalism and teamwork along the way.

Important Details

-The credit card you provide at registration will not be charged until the first week of each session. If the minimum number of registrants is not met, your card will not be charged.
-Program fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless there is insufficient enrollment.
-No make-ups will be scheduled for inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
-If a vendor is ill, all efforts will be made to arrange a make-up class.
-Parent/guardian is responsible for reminding their child of classes.
-All vendors have been cleared per Diocesan policy with respect to fingerprinting and background checks.
-There are no After School Clubs held on No School days.
-If you select a club for your child that does not begin immediately following dismissal (e.g. a class start time of 3:30pm M/T/Th/F or 2:30pm Wed.), you will be charged the Champions drop-in rate or your Champions plan will be utilized if applicable.
