Join our Middle School Academic Bowl Club and dive into a world of quiz-style challenges and academic fun! Meeting weekly, our club is the perfect opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge across a variety of subjects in both individual and team competitions. Whether you're a history buff, a science enthusiast, or passionate about any other academic field, there's a place for you here.
Our club is designed to prepare students for prestigious quiz competitions like the National Academic Bowl and the National Academic Bee, which occur alongside the National History Bee and the National Science Bee. (Importantly, you don’t need to qualify for the National History Bee to compete in the Academic Bowl, as long as one member of your team is participating in the History Bee.)
Through engaging in buzzer-style competitions, analyzing clues, and connecting knowledge, students will enhance their critical thinking skills. Working collaboratively, members will aim for common goals and gain a broad spectrum of knowledge. Our relaxed, low-stakes environment ensures that learning and competition are enjoyable.
We'll practice with past National Academic Bowl questions, enjoy Jeopardy-style games, and explore academic trivia board games. Come be a part of our team, have fun, and boost your academic prowess!
